The Joint Stock Company Polygraphic Complex “Pushkinskaya Ploshchad” is a company that is able to work within the deadlines agreed with the customers! Availability of the site with a huge variety of modern metalworking equipment allows PCPP to minimize downtime due to damage and unplanned maintenance.
The base of the main printing and postprinting equipment of PCPP consists mainly of equipment of the prominent foreign manufacturers, such as Heidelberg (Germany), GOSS (USA, France), Muller Martini (Switzerland), Sitma (Italy), which is widely used in printing industry. And in case of the printing equipment failure, some printing houses have to wait for the parts and components from the original equipment manufacturer for a few days to a few weeks, and in the PCPP mechanical-repair site, virtually all components and spare parts can be manufactured in a few hours, thus reducing downtime from several days to several hours.
Continuous operation of equipment
Within the Polygraphic Complex “Pushkinskaya Ploshchad”, at any damage repair of equipment, our own mechanical-repair site can produce up to 90% of different parts, including the parts that are very complex and expensive in manufacture. This allows PCPP in case of damage failures to start up the new equipment in as little as several hours after the occurred damage failure. Once the PCPP spare parts warehouse receives an original part of the foreign manufacturer of the printing presses, the part manufactured in the mechanical-repair shop is replaced with the original part in the next scheduled preventive equipment repair. Also, all manufactured parts are labeled and stored in a warehouse to prevent the force majeure event in the future.
In order to solve such problems, the mechanical-repair site is equipped with the following high-tech equipment of Russian and German origin:
- Lathe machines;
- Milling machines;
- Gear-shaping machines;
- Face-grinding machines for sharpening blades and tools;
- Cylindrical grinding machines;
- Any kind of welding and welding equipment (electric-arc welding, argon welding, autogenous welding);
- Equipment for thermal and chemical treatment of metals and various materials, including polymers.
- Modern equipment base for rubberizing (gumming) of printing rollers, for maintenance and manufacturing of the rollers and fitment holes.
- The modern equipment base for sharpening all types of blades, which are widely used in the printing industry and other industries.
- A large number of test and measurement equipment and instruments for the measurement of the produced components and spare parts.
The parts are produced only of high quality raw materials, both of Russian and foreign manufacture: England, Germany, Italy, France.
